Admissions to Danesholme Junior Academy.
Danesholme Junior Academy provides education for children within the 7 -11 age range in Danesholme and the surrounding area. The Linked School is Danesholme Infant Academy.
For Year 3, in the year preceding admission, parents should apply using the Northamptonshire Local Authority process.
For all other in-year admissions, parents must apply for a place through the Local Authority.

There will be a right of appeal to an Independent Appeals Panel for unsuccessful applicants relating to admissions at age 5 (statutory school age) or above.
Appeals should be made, in writing, within twenty (20) school days of the date of refusal to:

Once Danesholme Junior Academy has been informed by admissions that your child has a place with us, we will contact you with a date and time to visit the Academy to complete the necessary admissions paperwork. Once this is complete, we will provide you with a welcome pack, inform you of your class teacher and answer any questions you may have.
In year transfer
If you would like to join Danesholme Junior Academy once the school year has started, you will still need to apply through Northamptonshire county council, school admissions. Again, once admissions has informed us that your child has a place at our Academy, we will contact you to visit our school.
